Dormeo Gutscheincode & Aktionen

Dormeo sells mattresses and toppers built around Octaspring, a core of individual foam springs used instead of solid foam or steel. The technology reached bedding through Studio Moderna, a direct-to-consumer retail group from Slovenia that, according to its Wikipedia entry, launched Octaspring in 2011 and sold the first Dormeo mattress with it. In Britain Dormeo trades through United T and C Limited, which Companies House shows as incorporated on 17 September 2014 in High Wycombe, where Dormeo also runs its UK showroom. Since 1 January 2026 the register of people with significant control has named Sleep Brands Limited as holding 75% or more of the shares. Dormeo’s About Dormeo UK page describes the mattresses as Italian-designed and European-made and says they are sold in 40 countries.

Octaspring has also been built into aircraft seats. Vanema, set up in 2016 by Studio Moderna founder Sandi Češko, holds the rights to the technology for aviation, according to its own about page. The Crystal Cabin Award for Material and Components went in 2017 to Vanema and Boxmark for an Octaspring seat concept whose foam springs spread a passenger’s weight.

The Dormeo mattresses we review

Double prices are Dormeo’s regular prices in September 2026, and several models were on sale below them when we checked. The full reasoning sits in our Dormeo mattress comparison, and the eight toppers we review, led by the Octasmart Plus topper, are ranked in the Dormeo topper comparison. Outside its own pages, the Octasmart Plus mattress is eighth among our best memory foam mattresses.

Trial and warranty terms

Dormeo’s 200-night trial page covers mattresses and toppers, allows a refund or one exchange, and requires the mattress to be opened within 30 days of delivery. Only mattresses with Octaspring technology are collected free, and Octasense and Octasmart Essentials models are excluded from that. For everything else the Dormeo courier costs £45, deducted from the refund, or you arrange and pay for your own courier. The warranty page promises up to 20 years on selected mattresses but states that Dormeo mattresses and toppers are not suitable for adjustable beds and are not covered by the warranty on one.

Where Dormeo fits

Dormeo suits buyers who want a long home trial and a wide price spread under one brand, from the Octasmart Essentials up to the 30 cm Octaspring models. The foam springs are the point of difference, and Dormeo pitches them as more breathable than solid foam. It is the wrong choice for an adjustable bed, and the £45 return charge on the cheaper ranges takes the edge off the 200 nights if you end up sending a budget model back.
