Eve Sleep is a British online mattress brand, known in the UK for boxed foam and hybrid mattresses and for the flippable Wunderflip, and it has belonged to Bensons for Beds since October 2022. Eve says it began selling mattresses online in 2015 (Eve, about us). The original company, eve Sleep plc, was incorporated in October 2014 and is now in liquidation under the name ESR 2022 PLC (Companies House, no. 09261636).

Ownership and terms

Bensons for Beds bought the Eve brand and its intellectual property out of administration on 17 October 2022 for £600,000, after an opening offer of £300,000, according to Retail Gazette. The shop at evesleep.co.uk is now run by Bensonsforbedsretail Ltd from Accrington, Lancashire.

A new mattress bought on evesleep.co.uk comes with a 200-night trial and a 10-year warranty; refurbished and clearance mattresses get one year (Eve warranty terms). One condition is easy to miss. The warranty does not cover a mattress that fails on slats more than 70 mm apart, the maximum gap the National Bed Federation recommends.

Two Eve ranges

Six new mattresses are listed on evesleep.co.uk. Four more Eve models in our catalogue, the Hybrid Uno, Hybrid Duo, Hybrid Duo Plus and Pure Memory, are not sold there; Bensons sells them under its own terms, with an 8 or 10-year guarantee and no refund trial. What Bensons offers instead is a 40-night comfort guarantee: one exchange between nights 5 and 40, for a charge of 10% of the price plus re-delivery (Bensons comfort guarantee). The table shows which is which, with depths from the seller, our firmness rating and the lowest regular price at the time of writing (September 2026).

Who Eve suits

Eve suits you if you buy online and want time to decide, since 200 nights is more than six months on the mattress. The Wunderflip models suit couples who cannot agree on firmness, as each has a medium and a firm side. Our Eve comparison ranks the Hybrid Duo first and the Wunderflip Premium Hybrid second.

Be careful with the Bensons models if a trial matters to you, because a paid exchange is the most they allow. Eve models also feature in our lists of the best soft mattresses, best mattresses in a box and best memory foam mattresses.
