OTTY Pure Pro Hybrid Bamboo & Charcoal Mattress reviewed

The OTTY Pure Pro Hybrid Bamboo & Charcoal Mattress is a 27cm hybrid with up to 3,000 encapsulated pocket springs, built by adding a layer of 1,000 comfort springs to the Pure’s 2,000-spring design. OTTY rates it 7 out of 10, medium-firm, half a point firmer than the Pure, and it costs from £539.99 for a single and £749.99 for a double (September 2026). It is sold in five UK sizes.

Construction

The OTTY product page lists seven layers. The extra spring layer sits above the reflex foam, between the comfort foams and the 16cm support unit, and Airflow side supports run around both spring layers.

Pure, Pure Pro or Pure+?

The three bamboo and charcoal models differ mainly in spring count, depth and feel. The Pro keeps the Pure’s bamboo and charcoal comfort layers and adds its extra springs underneath them. Depth, spring count and firmness in the table below are OTTY’s own figures.

Who it suits

Back sleepers and couples who want the bamboo and charcoal comfort layers with a firmer, more supportive feel than the 6.5/10 Pure are the obvious buyers for the Pure Pro. Side sleepers who like a softer surface should compare it with the Pure+. OTTY says the 1,000 comfort springs add comfort while preserving the mattress’s anti-overheating design, and a spring layer is more open to airflow than solid foam. The second spring layer also makes the Pro 2cm deeper than the Pure, so check that your fitted sheets take a 27cm mattress.
