The OTTY Natural Evolve is a mattress handmade in the UK with wool, silk and cashmere fillings over up to 4,500 pocket springs, and at a starting price of £939.99 for a single and £1,099.99 for a double (September 2026) it is the most expensive mattress OTTY sells. OTTY rates it 7 out of 10, medium-firm, and lists a depth of 28cm.
Unlike OTTY’s hybrids, the Evolve contains no memory foam. The OTTY product page lists a hand-stitched tufted viscose cover with side handles, natural fillings and two spring systems, with the layers repeated in reverse beneath the core. Because of its natural materials it is delivered flat, not rolled and compressed.

OTTY asks you to rotate the Evolve head to toe once a month in the first year and every three months after that. The cover is tufted through to the fillings, so it cannot be taken off for washing. The layers are mirrored on both faces, and OTTY’s FAQ says the natural mattresses can be flipped as well as rotated.
OTTY’s page is inconsistent here. The specification table and page badges give a 10-year guarantee, while the product description mentions a 5-year warranty. Ask OTTY to confirm the term in writing before you order.
Natural fillings and a traditional tufted build are the reasons to choose the Evolve. It is not a good fit if you need a removable, washable cover or want to skip the rotation routine, and wool, silk and cashmere mean it is not suitable for anyone avoiding animal-derived materials.
