REM-Fit Pocket 1000 Hybrid reviewed

The REM-Fit Pocket 1000 Hybrid is a 25cm medium-firm mattress with 1,000 full-height pocket springs under zoned open-cell memory foam, sold direct by REM-Fit. A double costs £449.99 at the regular price, and the 100-night trial ends in a refund rather than an exchange.

Construction

REM-Fit rates the tension 7 out of 10, medium-firm, and every size is 25cm deep with the same construction. It quotes the 1,000 springs without naming the size they were counted in. The National Bed Federation puts typical pocket spring counts between 600-800 and 2,500, so this is a mid-range unit, and the zoned foam does more of the pressure relief than the spring count. The foam is registered under the CertiPUR programme (C-AU-UK-0825-235-0272), which tests foam for emissions and banned substances.

When we checked on 13 October 2026, every size was in stock and REM-Fit was taking 10% off all of them.

Trial and guarantee

The trial runs for 100 nights as standard, or 200 if you add a REM-Fit mattress protector to the order. A return is collected free and the mattress is passed to the British Heart Foundation for resale. The guarantee lasts 15 years. On a slatted base, REM-Fit asks for gaps of no more than 10cm between the slats.

Who it suits

It suits back sleepers and couples who want pocket springs with a memory foam top and the safety of a refundable trial. Side sleepers who like a softer surface may find 7 out of 10 too firm; our hybrid mattress comparison ranks softer alternatives.
