DUSK discount codes & offers

DUSK is an online-only homeware retailer from Leeds whose own-label mattress range is short: the Foam 1000 pocket sprung mattress and two memory foam pocket sprung hybrids, the 2,000 and the 4,000. The business behind it, Dusk (Retail) Limited, was incorporated on 7 September 2016 and has its registered office in Leeds. DUSK’s about page puts its warehouse in Doncaster and its office in Leeds. Rather than a showroom, the brand’s where-to-find-us page lists show homes and pop-up events.

What we review from DUSK

The 4000 is the flagship. DUSK’s product page lists 4,000 pocket springs in two layers under the memory foam, a depth of 31 cm and three sizes: double, king and super king.

In our rankings the 4000 appears among the best double mattresses and the best mattresses for heavy people. Both toppers rank in our feather topper comparison, and the duck feather model also features among the best double mattress toppers.

Trial, guarantee and delivery

Every DUSK mattress comes with a 100-night sleep trial that starts on the day of delivery. Returning one is not free. DUSK deducts a £39.99 collection fee from the refund, and the trial covers mattresses only, not toppers, bedding or furniture. The written product guarantee on the mattresses is one year.

Delivery needs a closer look too: DUSK’s delivery page makes small parcels free on orders over £50, but it charges box deliveries by weight at checkout, from £12.99 on a weekday, and it does not say which band a boxed mattress falls into. Check the delivery line in the basket before paying. DUSK is not on the National Bed Federation member list.

Who DUSK is for

For a couple who want a sprung hybrid in a double or larger at a budget price, and who are happy to judge comfort at home, the 4000 is the obvious DUSK pick. If you need a single or small double, you have to drop to the 2,000 or the Foam 1000, because the 4000 is not made in those sizes. Anyone who wants to lie on a mattress in a shop first, or who expects a long written warranty, will be better served elsewhere.
