DUSK Supreme Goose Down Mattress Topper reviewed

The DUSK Supreme Goose Down Mattress Topper is a 5cm two-tier topper with 70% goose down in the top tier and a feather-filled bottom tier, in a cotton percale casing with baffle walls that keep the filling spread evenly. It is the only goose down topper among the five toppers DUSK sells, and a double costs £100, less than the Soak&Sleep and Dorma dual-layer goose toppers that also have a 70% down top.

Specification

DUSK gives the down share of the top tier only. Under EN 12934 that figure is a percentage by weight, and at 70% the top tier clears the 60% down share that the IDFL guide to European labelling standards gives for advertising a product as down under EN 13186. DUSK states that the feather and down are certified to the Responsible Down Standard, which Textile Exchange says prohibits live plucking and force-feeding.

Prices and stock

When we checked the DUSK product page on 28 September 2026, the double, king and super king were in stock and the single was sold out. The king was listed below the double, which is unusual, and DUSK showed no promotion or end date on either, so treat the king price as liable to change. Standard delivery is free on orders over £50 and costs £3.99 below that.

Care and the bedroom it suits

Unlike the DUSK Luxury Duck Feather & Down topper, which machine washes at 40°C, the Supreme must be professionally laundered and must not be tumble dried, so a washable protector on top is worth the extra cost. At 5cm it meets the minimum depth that Bed Advice UK suggests for a topper to make a noticeable difference. Like any feather topper it flattens with use and needs regular shaking to keep its loft. Down holds warmth, so the Supreme suits people who sleep cold more than hot sleepers. DUSK states no guarantee for this topper.
