iGel is a mattress brand sold in the UK only through Bensons for Beds. Its current range, iGel NanoTech, consists of six pocket spring mattresses built around a layer of graphene-infused cooling foam, and every Bensons product page for the range states that the graphene technology is “only available at Bensons for Beds”. Bensons does not name the manufacturer on those pages.

The NanoTech range at a glance

The six models step up in springs, cooling-foam depth and height. The two flat-top models share a 40mm graphene layer; the four plushtop models add a cushioned top and grow the layer to 85mm.

What iGel claims, and what is verifiable

Bensons says the NanoTech graphene layer transfers heat 12 times faster than standard memory foam, and it markets the range as menopause-friendly under GenM’s MTick symbol. It publishes no test data behind the 12-times figure. Graphene itself is a very strong heat conductor, measured at roughly 4,840 to 5,300 W/mK in a 2008 Nano Letters study, but Bensons does not disclose how much graphene the foam contains. The specifications also mention a partnership with the British Chiropractic Association and iPure foams with BioGel made from 25% renewable plant extract.

Guarantee, trial and delivery

Every NanoTech mattress carries a free 10-year manufacturer’s guarantee. There is no refund trial: Bensons’ 40 Night Comfort Guarantee lets you exchange a mattress after at least five nights, provided you used a mattress protector, and charges apply. Bensons delivers to the room of your choice, at £49 for a single item over £100 when we checked, and runs about 170 stores where the range can be tried. Bensons also advises against using an electric blanket with any iGel mattress.

Customer feedback on the Bensons site is consistently strong: in October 2026 the six models averaged between 4.5 and 4.7 out of 5, led by the NanoTech 2050i with 1,497 ratings. That is retailer-hosted feedback rather than an independent test, but it is a large sample for a range this specific.
