The Harrison Spinks Jade 10000 is the cheapest two-sided mattress in the brand’s seasonal turn gemstone range. It combines a Cortec Quad pocket spring core with multiple layers of HD 2,500 micro springs, 10,000 springs in total, and like every Harrison Spinks mattress it uses no foam. A double cost £1,399 at MattressOnline in October 2026.

Construction and fillings

The Harrison Spinks product page lists a British wool and viscose blend, a British wool, hemp and flax blend and a cotton, hemp and flax blend. The cover is woven in-house without flame-retardant chemical treatment, and two rows of side stitching hold the border in shape. MattressOnline gives the depth as 29cm, slimmer than the models higher up the range; Harrison Spinks says in its FAQ that standard sheets fit its standard sizes, with deep sheets an option for some mattresses.

Feel and who it suits

Retailers sell the Jade in soft to medium, medium and firmer tensions. We rate the medium version at 6 out of 10, a little firmer than the Emerald, because it has less upholstery and a single grade of micro spring (HD 2,500) where the Caspian and Emerald use two. That makes it a good match for back sleepers, and for front sleepers who choose the firmer tension. Side sleepers who like deep cushioning will get more from the Caspian.

Living with a seasonal turn mattress

The design gives you a wool side for winter and a cotton side for summer. The Harrison Spinks care guide asks you to turn and rotate it on alternate weeks for the first 12 weeks, then rotate it monthly and turn it twice a year. Some settling of the natural fillings in the first weeks is normal.

Prices and where to buy

The Jade is made to order and sold through retailers, not by Harrison Spinks directly. MattressOnline, where we checked these prices, quotes a 5-year guarantee followed by a further 5-year warranty and offers its own 100-night trial. Now to Bed charged the same for the single and double and the double price for a king, and it can also build the Jade as a zip-and-link king or super king for couples who want a different tension on each side.

Unser Urteil

Fazit
„The Jade is the cheapest way into a Harrison Spinks seasonal turn mattress and keeps the natural fillings that define the range. Choose it if you prefer a slightly firmer, more supportive surface over deep cushioning.“
