The Vispring Sublime Superb is a two-layer pocket-sprung mattress from the Luxe Collection, filled with British fleece wool, horsetail blended with real Shetland wool, silk and mohair, and a Shetland wool and cotton top layer. Vispring rates it 4 on its 1 to 5 Feel Index, a medium-firm surface and firmer than the plush Tiara Superb in the same collection, which we record as 6 on our 1 to 10 scale.

The two tiers of springs are what separate it from the Classic Collection: the 2,520 count in a king is the highest of any Vispring we rank, and the silk blend of Tussah and Mulberry silk is, in Vispring’s words, there to help regulate body temperature.
It suits back sleepers and couples who want the depth of a Luxe mattress without the softer top of the Tiara Superb. Side sleepers with broad shoulders will get more give from a soft tension or from the Regal Superb, which Vispring rates 2 out of 5.
The price is the hurdle. At Land of Beds a single costs £8,679 and a king £13,929 (October 2026), several times the cost of the Elite with the same 30-year guarantee. Like every Vispring it is double-sided, and the Vispring FAQ asks owners to turn it twice a month for the first three months and then every season, which with two spring layers is a job for two people.
