Firmness: MediumThe iGel NanoTech 3000i is a 31cm dual-layer pocket spring mattress with graphene cooling foam, in soft, medium or firm.
The iGel NanoTech 3000i is the most adaptable mattress in the iGel range: a 31cm pocket spring mattress with two layers of springs, a 40mm graphene-infused cooling foam layer and a choice of soft, medium or firm. Bensons for Beds sells it exclusively, and 483 of its customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 (October 2026).
The 3,000 springs are split between a layer of mini pocket springs and a unit of full-height pocket springs. The mini springs sit close to the surface and react to small movements, such as a shoulder turning, while the full-height springs carry your weight. On the cheaper 2050i the same job falls to a single layer, which is why the 3000i feels more cushioned on top without a plush top. Above the springs are 40mm of iGel NanoTech graphene foam, iGel foam with gel crystals and a quilted cover with TENCEL fibres, according to Bensons’ specification.
Bensons says the graphene layer transfers heat 12 times faster than standard memory foam. Graphene on its own is an exceptional heat conductor: a 2008 study in Nano Letters measured roughly 4,840 to 5,300 W/mK for a single layer of it. Bensons does not publish how much graphene its foam contains, though, so we judged cooling on the depth of that layer and the breathability of the cover rather than on the multiplier. On both counts the 3000i matches the 2050i; the thicker cooling layers start with the 3500i.

Soft suits lighter side sleepers, medium covers most back and side sleepers, and firm works for front sleepers and heavier back sleepers. The 3000i and the 4000i Plushtop are the only iGel models offered in all three firmness levels, which is the main reason we rank the 3000i first among the flat-top models: a household can match it to the sleeper rather than the other way round.
You pay a premium over the 2050i without getting more cooling foam, and the 31cm depth calls for fitted sheets with deep pockets. Like every iGel, it comes with a 10-year guarantee but no refund trial, only Bensons’ paid exchange under its 40 Night Comfort Guarantee.

“The 3000i is the pick of the iGel NanoTech range for most people: the dual spring layer and three firmness choices make it far more adaptable than the entry model. Its regular price is steep, so buy during a Bensons sale.”Go to shop →
