Sleepeezee Cool Refresh 3200 Pocket Pillow Top Mattress reviewed

The Sleepeezee Cool Refresh 3200 Pocket Pillow Top Mattress is a medium-soft, 30 cm single-sided mattress built around cooling, with a cool-touch cover, 2 cm of StayCool gel and 3,200 springs counted in a king. Sleepeezee calls it its most complete cooling mattress, and Mattress Online lists it at £1,049 for a double and £1,149 for a king at the time of writing (September 2026), with a 10-year guarantee.

What does the cooling

Four parts of the build target heat. The cover is a cool-to-the-touch fabric, a 2 cm StayCool gel layer sits in the pillow top, 2,000 mini pocket springs leave more room for air than a solid foam layer would, and vents in the border let air move through the mattress. Under all of it, 1,200 traditional pocket springs with a calibre edge give the main support, according to the Sleepeezee product page and Mattress Online’s cut-away.

Firmness and who it suits

Mattress Online rates the Cool Refresh 3200 soft to medium and Sleepeezee calls it medium-soft, which we place at 4 out of 10. Side sleepers and warm sleepers are the target. The Sleep Charity puts the ideal bedroom at around 16 to 18°C and warns that temperatures over 24°C are likely to cause restlessness, so a mattress that sheds heat helps most in a warm or south-facing room; the NHS also advises that a quiet, dark and cool room makes it easier to sleep. Stomach sleepers will find the pillow top too soft.

Sizes, prices and weight

Mattress Online sells four sizes and no small double, although Sleepeezee lists a small double and a Super King Zip and Link through other retailers. When we checked, the double, king and super king were in stock with a two to three week lead time, while the single was out of stock and charged at its full list price, the same as a double. At 67 kg in a king by Sleepeezee’s table it is heavy, but it is never flipped, only rotated using the side handles.

The Cool Refresh range is new, and Mattress Online showed no customer reviews for the 3200 yet, so our assessment rests on the published build. The 100-night Comfort Trial is an exchange rather than a refund and requires a protector bought from Mattress Online, which is worth pairing with a breathable protector if cooling is the reason you are buying.
