The Naturalmat Terrific is a 6cm topper with a natural latex core wrapped in organic wool and an organic cotton and wool cover, handmade to order in Devon. It sits in the middle of Naturalmat's topper range, adds both cushioning and some support to a tired mattress, and at the time of writing (September 2026) it costs £630 in a single and £760 in a Naturalmat double (137 x 190cm).
The Terrific product page lists three materials, sewn, tape-edged and tufted by hand like a mattress.

Naturalmat describes the Terrific as "not too soft, not too firm", and it publishes no firmness grade, so our medium 5/10 rating is an estimate from the build. Latex pushes back quickly, which keeps you on top of the topper rather than in it, while the wool takes the edge off the surface. That balance suits back and side sleepers on a mattress that has become uncomfortable but is still flat. One buyer reviewing it on Naturalmat's site found it firmer than expected on an already firm mattress, so do not count on it to soften a very hard bed.
A topper only helps if the mattress under it is sound. The National Bed Federation's guide to whether you need a new bed lists sagging, lumps and an age of more than seven to 10 years as signs that the mattress itself needs replacing, and a 6cm topper will follow any dip beneath it.
