Intex discount codes & offers

Intex is an American maker of inflatable products, and in the UK it is known mainly for its Dura-Beam airbeds; it does not make conventional mattresses. According to Intex’s company page, the business began in 1966 with a small range of toys, once traded as The Wet Set, made its first above-ground pool in 1997 and now sells pools, spas, floats, boats and airbeds in more than 100 countries. Its contact page gives the address of Intex Corp in Long Beach, California.

Buying Intex in the UK

Intex does not sell direct in Britain. Its airbeds come from retailers such as pools.shop and Intex Wetset, an “official Intex stockist” run by John Adams Leisure Ltd of Huntingdon, so delivery, returns and faults go through the shop you buy from. On 28 September 2026 pools.shop listed the Dura-Beam Deluxe Comfort-Plush High-Rise at £79, with free standard delivery to Great Britain from £99.90, and named Intex Trading B.V. in Roosendaal, the Netherlands, as the manufacturer contact for Europe. The same listing describes the patented Fiber-Tech internal construction, K-braces along the edges and a built-in 220-240 V QuickFill pump that inflates the bed in under five minutes.

Check the size before you buy

Intex sells its airbeds under American size names. The “Queen” Comfort-Plush measures 203 x 152 cm on the pools.shop listing, which is wider than a UK double (135 x 190 cm) and slightly wider and longer than a UK king (150 x 200 cm), so a fitted sheet for a British bed will not sit properly and the bed needs more floor space than its name suggests.

Where Intex fits

The Intex Comfort-Plush High-Rise Airbed is ranked in our air mattress comparison, below the Hi-Gear High Rise Flock King Size Airbed. Intex suits you if you need a bed-height guest bed for occasional visitors and have a socket near the bed for the built-in pump. It does not suit nightly use in place of a mattress, camping without mains power, or anyone who wants one UK company to deal with for returns and repairs.
