The Harrison Spinks Clover 3000 is a turn-free pocket sprung mattress from the Wildwood Collection, the range Harrison Spinks describes as an affordable introduction to its beds. It combines 1,000 pocket springs with 2,000 micro springs under layers of British wool, cotton, homegrown hemp and flax, with no foam. At SASO a double costs £1,099 (October 2026), well below the brand’s seasonal turn mattresses.

An award-winning entry model

In September 2026 the Clover won Bed Product of the Year at the National Bed Federation’s 2026 Bed Industry Awards. The judges called it “Pound for pound, the standout entry and a worthy winner of bed product of the year”, and praised it for delivering “all the hallmarks of their core range but at a very commercial price point”. The same night Harrison Spinks was named Bed Manufacturer of the Year for the third year running.

Specification Harrison Spinks Clover 3000

Care Turn-free, rotate only

Feel and who it suits

Harrison Spinks rates the Clover as a gentle feel, the softest of the three Wildwood mattresses, which we place at 4 out of 10. The micro springs sit close to the surface and give under shoulders and hips, so side sleepers and lighter sleepers get the most from it. Back sleepers who like a softer bed will be comfortable too, while front sleepers and heavier sleepers are better served by a firmer model such as the Bronze Ortho. Harrison Spinks says the wool helps regulate temperature while the hemp and flax wick away moisture, and those fillings give the Clover one of the better temperature scores in the range.

Prices and care

Size Dimensions (cm) Price at SASO
Single 90 x 190 £999
Double 135 x 190 £1,099
King 150 x 200 £1,199
Super king 180 x 200 £1,299

Because the Clover is single-sided, you never flip it. The Harrison Spinks care guide asks you to rotate a turn-free mattress every week for the first 12 weeks while the natural fillings settle, then monthly. The drawbacks are the flip side of the price: 3,000 springs against 10,000 or more in the seasonal turn models, only one feel, and fewer sizes at the stockist we checked, with no small double listed.

Unser Urteil

Fazit
„The Clover 3000 is one of the cheapest ways to get a genuine Harrison Spinks spring unit and British wool, and the National Bed Federation judges agree it punches above its price. Choose it if you like a softer, gentle surface and want a mattress you only rotate; heavier sleepers and anyone who wants a firm bed should look further up the range.“
