Brightr is a Glasgow sleep brand that sells reversible memory foam mattress toppers, each with a different firmness on either side, alongside adjustable pillows and one hybrid mattress. The company behind it, Brighter Sleep Ltd, was incorporated in Scotland on 21 February 2020. According to Brightr’s own story, its founder spent almost 20 years in the sleep industry before starting the brand in 2020 with four pillows; toppers and accessories came later.

Four toppers, three reviewed

Topper	Construction	Depth (cm)	Firmness	Price from
Aurora	Reversible memory foam	5	Medium soft	£119.92
Titan	Reversible memory foam	5	Medium firm	£111.92
Titan Deluxe	Reversible memory foam	8	Firm	£209.90

The range runs to four toppers: the 5 cm Aurora and Titan, and the 8 cm Aurora Deluxe and Titan Deluxe. Each comes in UK sizes from a 75 x 190 cm small single to a 180 x 200 cm super king, plus continental EU sizes and a 200 x 200 cm emperor, and the topper listings state that they are made in Europe. The two Titan models rank in our comparison of the best firm mattress toppers, and the Aurora appears among the best memory foam mattress toppers. We have not reviewed the Aurora Deluxe yet.

How the warranty works

Brightr toppers come with a 100-night comfort trial and a five-year limited warranty, and the warranty is graded. In the first two years Brightr repairs or replaces a faulty topper free of charge. In years three to five it offers a repair or replacement pro rata, and the removable cover is covered for one year only. The terms also set how deep a dip must be before it counts as a defect, from 25 mm in the first year to 45 mm in the fifth.

The SixSense hybrid mattress, which we have not reviewed yet, carries a 100-night trial and a ten-year warranty according to its product page. Toppers ordered before noon on a working day leave the same day for free next-business-day delivery on the UK mainland. Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and islands can cost extra.

Is a Brightr topper right for you?

A reversible Brightr topper makes most sense if you want to change the feel of an existing mattress without replacing it, or if two sleepers cannot settle on one firmness, since each topper can be flipped. Every Brightr topper we list is memory foam, so it is the wrong shop for natural fillings. Nor is it a budget buy. The cheapest published model, the Titan, starts at £111.92 in a small single.
