The Aspire Invigorate Pocket Memory Foam Hybrid is a 23cm rolled mattress that layers high-density memory foam and recycled eco foam over Aspire’s Pocket+ springs, with a medium feel. It is made in the UK, carries a 5-year warranty and comes in two cover versions, a Classic quilted top with four turning handles and a Cooling top with carbon fibres in the fabric. A 4ft6 double costs £289.

Classic or Cooling

Inside, both versions are identical, as Aspire’s product page makes clear. The choice is the cover. The Classic has an OEKO-TEX quilted top fabric and four handles; the Cooling version swaps that for an OEKO-TEX certified active cooling fabric with carbon fibres running through the surface and drops the handles. OEKO-TEX’s Standard 100 tests textiles for harmful substances; Aspire names it for the cover fabrics and does not mention a certificate for the foams inside.

Layer, top to bottom What Aspire uses
Sleep surface Quilted Aspire Cool fabric (Classic) or carbon fibre cooling fabric (Cooling)
Comfort foam High-density memory foam
Support foam Recycled eco foam
Spring unit Pocket+ springs, up to 1,000 per mattress
Base Polyester support layer, partly recycled fibre

The memory foam eases pressure at the shoulders and hips, the eco foam stops you sinking through to the springs, and the pocketed springs keep a partner’s movement to their side. Aspire says it built the Pocket+ spring to keep its structure and side support after the mattress has been rolled. The springs use partially recycled steel, and Aspire says the eco foam is recycled and recyclable.

Sizes and prices

Size Mattress size (cm) Aspire price
Small single (2ft6) 75 x 190 £239
Single (3ft) 90 x 190 £239
Small double (4ft) 120 x 190 £289
Double (4ft6) 135 x 190 £289
King (5ft) 150 x 200 £339

Prices read on 15 October 2026, with no reductions. There is no super king. The mattress arrives vacuum packed and boxed; Aspire says it regains about 90% of its depth within a few hours and takes up to 48 hours to recover fully.

Who it suits

With a medium rating and a memory foam top over springs, it is a broad all-rounder: side and back sleepers, couples, and anyone moving a mattress up a narrow staircase. Pick the Cooling cover if you tend to wake warm; it costs nothing extra. Front sleepers who like a flatter, firmer surface should look at a tufted pocket mattress instead.

Warranty and returns

The 5-year warranty is pro rata after the first year. There is no sleep trial, and Aspire’s returns policy excludes a mattress with a broken hygiene seal from the 14-day cancellation right unless it is faulty.

Our verdict

Conclusion
“The Invigorate is the rolled Aspire we would recommend to most people: memory foam comfort on Aspire's Pocket+ springs, a 5-year warranty and the option of a cooling cover. Only front sleepers and fans of a firm, traditional feel should look past it.”
