TEMPUR EASE 22 reviewed

The TEMPUR EASE 22 is the middle depth of TEMPUR’s EASE range, a 22cm medium firm foam mattress with the same 3cm TEMPUR Adapt layer as the EASE 20 and 2cm more base foam. A 135x190 double lists at £1,299 on TEMPUR’s UK shop, and in every size the EASE 22 costs exactly £100 more than the EASE 20 at list price.

Because the extra depth is all in the base, the surface feel stays close to the EASE 20. You get a little more cushion before reaching firm support and a mattress that sits 2cm higher on the bed, which helps on a divan where the 20cm model can look slim, and a double weighs 25.0kg unboxed, 2.5kg more than the EASE 20. It suits average-weight back and combination sleepers who want the TEMPUR contour kept light. Heavier side sleepers will get more from the 25cm version or a PRO model, where the comfort foam itself is deeper.

One point of confusion is worth clearing up. Dreams sells a separate, retailer-exclusive TEMPUR Ease 22 SmartCool with a cooling cover. The EASE 22 sold direct by TEMPUR has the standard EASE cover, removable and washable at 30°C, with no cooling fabric, so check which of the two you are looking at before comparing prices or reviews.

The EASE 22 carries the same terms as TEMPUR’s premium range. The TEMPUR quality guarantee lasts 10 years on EASE mattresses and covers visible indentation of more than 2cm in the TEMPUR material. Direct orders include the 100-night trial, with a 60-night minimum before a return, free delivery to mainland UK with next working day delivery on stocked sizes, and free recycling of an old mattress.

At list price in September 2026, sizes run from £949 for a small single to £1,599 for a super king, and TEMPUR’s regular offers can bring those down by a few hundred pounds. As with the rest of the EASE range, there is no standard 90x190 single, only the 90x200 long single.
