The Air 6.0 is the Slumberland model most people search for by name, and it sits in the middle of the Air Memory range at Bensons for Beds. At 32 cm it is noticeably deeper than the Air 2.0. The core combines 1,250 full-height nested pocket springs with a layer of 1,500 mini pocket springs, 2,750 in total, under 60 mm of seven-zone Sensaform memory foam with breathable air channels.

It is the only Air model offered in Soft, Medium and Firm. We cover the Medium version and rate it 5 out of 10: the thicker foam and the mini springs give a deeper, more cushioned first feel than the Air 2.0, yet the nested springs stop the hips from sinking too far. Side sleepers and couples gain the most, and the Soft and Firm options widen the choice for lighter and heavier sleepers.

Temperature control relies on the channelled foam, a cool-touch cover and quilted fillings made from 75% recycled PET. Bensons lists the mattress as MTick accredited, a menopause-friendly mark from GenM for helping with night sweats, and as endorsed by the Good Housekeeping Institute for 2026. Both marks are listed by Bensons on the product page.

The regular price runs from £749.99 for a single to £1,249.99 for a super king. It is single-sided, made in the UK and covered by an 8-year manufacturer’s guarantee, while the Bensons 40-night comfort guarantee allows an exchange with charges.

Our verdict

Conclusion
“The Air 6.0 is the model in the range we would point most buyers to: the extra mini springs and foam make a clear difference in comfort for a moderate price step over the Air 2.0. Buy it on offer, because the regular price puts it close to more premium hybrids.”
