The Dream Team Gold Lynmouth 3000 is a 30cm medium pocket sprung mattress from the Gold tier of Dream Team, the own-brand range Dreams makes and sells only in its stores and online. It combines standard pocket springs with a layer of micro springs and recyclable Platinum 3D foam, under a CopperLeaf knitted cover with copper-infused yarn, and it is handmade in the UK.

Construction

Layer, top to bottom Detail (Dreams)
Cover CopperLeaf knitted cover, traditionally tufted
Comfort layer Recyclable Platinum 3D foam
Filling Polyester comfort layer
Support Micro pocket springs
Support Individually wrapped pocket springs
Filling Polyester comfort layer
Base Supportive base fabric

Dreams lists 2,586 springs in a double once the micro springs and the main unit are counted together. That sits at the top of the usual range, since the National Bed Federation’s Bed Advice UK guide says pocket spring counts “typically vary from 600-800 up to 2,500”. The micro springs react to small movements just below the surface, so the Lynmouth feels springy and responsive rather than slow-sinking like memory foam.

Dreams grades it medium, which we place at 5 out of 10, a feel that suits back and side sleepers of average build. With no memory foam in the build and a cover designed to draw heat away from the body, it should sleep cooler than the Dream Team Fowey, which puts memory foam directly under the cover. The squared edge and deep tufting are there to stop the fillings shifting and the sides from rolling.

Sizes and prices

Size Dimensions (cm) Price at Dreams
Single 90 x 190 £499
Small double 120 x 190 £599
Double 135 x 190 £599
King 150 x 200 £699
Super king 180 x 200 £749

These are the selling prices on the Dreams product page on 4 October 2026. Dreams shows a crossed-out price roughly twice as high beside every size, a comparison it runs across the Dream Team range with no end date, so the lower figure is the one to budget for.

What to know before you buy

The Lynmouth is single-sided, so you rotate it head to toe every week for the first three months and monthly after that. It weighs 28kg in a double and is delivered flat, not rolled. Dreams gives a one-year guarantee, short for a mattress at this price, plus its 100-night comfort guarantee, which allows one exchange between night 30 and night 100 for a £95 collection and re-delivery charge if you have used a mattress protector from the start. Its 150 reviews on dreams.co.uk averaged 4.8 out of 5 in October 2026.

Unser Urteil

Fazit
„The Lynmouth is the Dreams mattress we would point most people to first, with a deep, medium pocket sprung build and a layer of micro springs at a mid-range price. Its weak spot is the one-year guarantee, so use a protector from the first night to keep the 100-night exchange open.“
