The Dorma TENCEL Blend Memory Foam Mattress Topper is the premium foam topper in Dunelm’s Dorma range: CertiPUR-approved memory foam in a quilted cover whose top face is 30% TENCEL lyocell, sold in 6.5cm and 10cm depths from £150 for a 6.5cm single at the time of writing (September 2026). It is the only Dorma topper Dunelm backs with a 10-year guarantee, and the one to look at if a firm mattress is pressing on your shoulders and hips.

The composition and the 10 years come from the Dunelm product page and Dunelm’s topper guarantee list. TENCEL is Lenzing AG’s brand of lyocell, a cellulose fibre, and Dunelm pitches the blend as helping to manage moisture and body temperature. The foam carries CertiPUR, the European programme under which foam samples are tested in independent laboratories and certified as made without heavy metals such as mercury, lead and cadmium and as emitting low levels of volatile organic compounds. The label runs for three years, with control tests every year.

We estimate the feel as medium-soft, 4 out of 10, from the memory foam build: the 6.5cm depth softens a firm mattress, while the 10cm depth lets side sleepers sink further in at the shoulder. Dunelm makes the cooling claim for the TENCEL cover, not for the foam, which has no gel or open-cell feature listed, so warm sleepers should not expect it to sleep as cool as a fibre topper. Care is the main drawback, since both foam and cover are sponge clean only. Dunelm shoppers rate it 4.7 out of 5 across 1,090 reviews (September 2026). There is no sleep trial, and under Dunelm’s returns policy a topper is only refunded on a change of mind if it comes back sealed, as the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 allow for hygiene-sensitive goods.
