Dorma Full Forever Dual Mattress Topper im Test

The Dorma Full Forever Dual Mattress Topper is a two-layer fibre topper sold only at Dunelm, with a 300gsm top layer and an 800gsm base layer, each in a 233 thread count cotton cover, zipped together into one piece. A single costs £140 and a double £160 at the time of writing (October 2026). It is the Dorma topper for anyone who likes the springy feel of fibre but wants noticeably more of it than the single-layer Full Forever gives.

How the two layers work

The figures come from the Dunelm product page, which lists the polyester filling as GRS (Global Recycled Standard) material. The zip is the useful part. You can take the thinner top layer off, put it through a domestic wash, wipe the base and zip the two back together, which none of the single-layer Dorma fibre toppers allows. Dunelm gives no total depth for the topper, so let it recover for a day after unpacking before you judge how much it adds.

Sizes and prices

Regular Dunelm prices, checked on 5 October 2026, with all four sizes in stock. There is no small double or emperor, which the cheaper Full Forever does offer.

Feel and who it suits

We rate it medium-soft, 3 out of 10. Together the two layers carry 1,100gsm of fibre, so the surface feels fuller and more cushioned than a 3cm fibre topper, without the slow, body-shaped sink of memory foam. That suits back and side sleepers who find their mattress a little hard and dislike the warmth of foam. Front sleepers who need their hips held level may find it too soft.

It will not fix a mattress that dips, because fibre follows whatever is underneath it. It also costs twice as much as the 3cm Full Forever in the same size, and with only ten Dunelm reviews so far there is little owner feedback on how well the fill keeps its loft.

There is no sleep trial and no stated guarantee. Under Dunelm’s returns policy, a mattress topper is only refunded on a change of mind if it comes back unused, sealed and in its original packaging.
