Happy Beds is an online bed retailer from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, best known in the UK for low-priced own-label beds and mattresses such as the two-sided Majestic 1000. It sells through happybeds.co.uk and a happybeds store on Amazon UK, where the Majestic is listed too, and calls itself the UK’s largest online-only bed retailer, a claim we have not seen measured independently. The trading company is Happy Beds Limited, registered in England and Wales under number 10884409 and incorporated on 26 July 2017, according to Companies House.

Guarantee, returns and delivery

Happy Beds gives every mattress a five-year manufacturer’s guarantee that runs from the day of delivery. Its guarantee terms only count sagging as a defect once the dip reaches 2.5 inches (6 cm), a manufacturing fault reported within 30 days of delivery can be refunded, damage has to be reported within 24 hours of it happening, and the cover lapses if the mattress was used on an unsuitable base or slept on from the wrong side of a non-turn design. There is no sleep trial. Under the returns and refunds policy, a change-of-mind return goes back in its original packaging at your own cost, and the delivery charge is not refunded.

The delivery figures come from the Happy Beds delivery policy as published in April 2026, the latest version we could read, and apply to most postcodes. Addresses on its list of chargeable postcodes pay from £110.

Who Happy Beds suits

Happy Beds makes sense if you already know the firmness you want and price matters more than service, for a guest room, a child’s bed or a like-for-like replacement. It is a poor fit if you are unsure about feel, because there is no showroom to try the mattress in and no trial to fall back on.
