Gaveno Cavailia discount codes & offers

Gaveno Cavailia, usually shortened to GC, is a Manchester home textiles brand that sells duvet cover sets, bedding, towels, curtains and mattress toppers online. Its shop lists 11 toppers, from the 2 cm bamboo model to five 10 cm designs. The footer of the shop names company number 04902501, which Companies House lists as T & A Textiles and Hosiery Limited, incorporated on 17 September 2003 and registered at Sleepdown House in Newton Heath, Manchester, with the manufacture of soft furnishings and the wholesale of textiles among its registered activities. The brand’s about page describes it as rooted in British design, but does not say where individual products are made.

Delivery and returns

Delivery details are on GC’s delivery information page, and the 30-day return window is set out on each product page.

The GC topper we review

The GC 2cm Bamboo Mattress Topper is a budget topper, from £35.99 for a white single, with grey costing slightly more. At 2 cm it is a thin comfort layer, not a fix for a sagging mattress. Read its product page carefully. The title names bamboo, but the material is given as memory foam and the care as wipe clean only, so do not expect a washable bamboo fibre topper. It ranks in our comparison of the best bamboo mattress toppers as a budget option.

Who GC is for

The 2 cm topper suits a spare bed or a quick refresh on a small budget, with free tracked delivery. It does little for anyone who needs real pressure relief, since 2 cm of foam changes the feel of a mattress only slightly; GC’s 7 cm and 10 cm toppers are the more obvious place to start there, although we have not reviewed them. Buyers who want detailed specifications or certificates will not find them on the listing we checked.
