Littens discount codes & offers

Littens is a Bolton bedding company best known in the UK for low-priced feather, down, microfibre and memory foam mattress toppers, sold through its own shop and on Amazon.co.uk. Companies House lists Littens Ltd (company 07821512) as incorporated on 25 October 2011 and registered at Asia Mill, Carter Street, Bolton, the same address the shop gives for returns.

What Littens sells

Toppers are one part of a wider home textiles range: littens.co.uk also lists duvets, pillows, bed linen, curtains, cushions and bean bags, and badges its products “UK designed” without saying where the fillings are made. Toppers come in UK sizes from single (90x190) to super king (180x200) and in European sizes such as 140x200. Two Littens toppers are published in our catalogue: the 4 Inch Ultimate Premium Cotton Soft As Down topper, 10 cm of microfibre in a 280 thread count cotton casing, from £70.95, and the Goose Feather and Down topper, 85% goose feather and 15% down, from £44.95.

Returns are the main catch

The Littens returns page gives you until the 30th day after delivery to cancel, but it excludes mattress toppers, protectors, duvets and pillows “for health and hygiene reasons” unless they are unopened and sealed in the original packaging, or faulty. A topper that feels wrong once it is on the bed therefore cannot go back. Returns sent through the Littens courier or a myHermes ParcelShop also carry a fee that is deducted from the refund, and the shop states no guarantee period in years.

Where Littens ranks

The Littens Goose Feather and Down topper is ranked in our feather mattress topper comparison, and the 10 cm Soft As Down topper in our 10cm mattress topper comparison, where both are measured against toppers that come with a home trial.

Who Littens suits, and who it does not

Littens suits you if you want a soft, hotel-style topper for a modest outlay and already know which fill you like. If you react to feathers, the microfibre Soft As Down version avoids them. If you want to sleep on a topper for a few weeks before deciding, choose a brand with a trial instead, because an opened Littens topper can only be returned when it is faulty.
