The Littens Goose Feather and Down topper is an 85/15 goose-fill topper in 5 or 7.5 cm, in UK and European sizes.
The Littens Goose Feather and Down Mattress Topper is a traditional feather bed filled with 85% small white goose feather and 15% white goose down, sold in two depths, 5 cm and 7.5 cm, from £44.95 for a 5 cm single. It is a low-cost way to make a firm mattress feel softer for side and back sleepers.
Littens’ product page describes a 233 thread count down-proof cotton cambric casing (the specification panel says 230), a square box stitch across the surface to spread the filling, inner and outer baffle walls and four elasticated anchor bands, one on each corner. Littens rates the feel as medium and says the topper is suitable from one year of age.
Littens sells each UK size on its own page with a depth choice, and the continental sizes on one page per depth. The ladder we hold is the 5 cm version; the 7.5 cm prices are Littens’ regular prices at the time of writing (September 2026).

When we checked, Littens had taken £1 off the 5 cm single and double and the 7.5 cm double and king, with no end date shown, and the 5 cm European single was out of stock.
We rate it medium, 5 out of 10. A feather-rich fill has more body and lift than a down-rich one, so you get cushioning without sinking straight through to the mattress. The 7.5 cm version is noticeably softer. Feather fill flattens where you lie, so plan on shaking it out most mornings.
Littens does not name a down standard for this topper. The common one is the Responsible Down Standard run by Textile Exchange, which bans live plucking and force-feeding. If a certified supply chain matters to you, choose a topper that states one.
The product title says anti-dust mite, but the NHS recommends synthetic bedding for people with allergic rhinitis, so a feather topper is the wrong choice if dust or feathers trigger symptoms. Under Littens’ returns policy, toppers can only be sent back within 30 days if unopened and sealed, or faulty. There is no sleep trial or stated guarantee.
