The Dunlopillo Meya is a medium-firm latex hybrid, with a 50 mm layer of Dunlopillo latex over 1,050 individual pocket springs in a king size. It is the entry model of Dunlopillo’s Pure collection and the lowest-priced Dunlopillo mattress on sale in the UK, from £699 for a single at MattressNextDay. We recommend it to back sleepers who want the springy feel of latex without paying Core or Elite prices.

How the Meya is built

Dunlopillo’s Meya spec sheet lists the parts below. Nothing is glued together, which Dunlopillo presents as the greener way to build a mattress, and the Meya is single-sided, so you rotate it head to toe and never flip it.

Part What it is What it does for you
Cover Quilted with natural wool A soft first touch that lets moisture escape
Comfort layer 50 mm of Dunlopillo latex (Mattress Online figure) Springs back quickly and eases pressure at hips and shoulders
Base layer Deep support layer Sits between the latex and the springs
Springs 1,050 individual pocket springs in a 150x200 cm king Each spring moves on its own, so a partner turning over is felt less
Edges Edgetech springs and two rows of side stitching Firmer sides you can sit on and sleep close to

Mattress Online gives the depth as 32 cm, within 1 to 2 cm of the Kareena, so choose fitted sheets with deep pockets and check the maximum mattress height of your bed frame. MattressNextDay sells it at the prices below.

Sizes and prices

Size Dimensions (cm) MattressNextDay price
Single 90 x 190 £699
Double 135 x 190 £999
King 150 x 200 £999
Super king 180 x 200 £1,179

Prices were checked in October 2026, when MattressNextDay charged the same for a double and a king and quoted a five to six week lead time on the single and super king. Mattress Online sells the Meya too, at a little more in every size.

Feel and who it suits

MattressNextDay rates the Meya medium-firm and we record it as 6 out of 10. With less latex on top than the Kareena, you lie more on the springs, which keeps the hips level for back sleepers and for front sleepers of average weight. Lighter side sleepers may find the shoulder does not sink far enough and should look at the deeper Kareena or the Millennium.

Guarantee, materials and buying

The Meya carries a 10-year guarantee against manufacturing faults, five years shorter than Dunlopillo’s Core and Elite models. Mattress Online lists it as handcrafted in the UK. MattressNextDay labels it vegan friendly, but Dunlopillo’s own sheet quilts the surface with natural wool, so check with the retailer if animal fibres matter to you. Dunlopillo calls its latex anti-allergenic, yet the NHS lists latex among the common causes of allergic rhinitis, so anyone with a diagnosed latex allergy should ask before ordering.

Dunlopillo sells only through stockists and offers no home trial of its own. Mattress Online’s 100-night comfort trial is an exchange for another mattress, and only if you also buy a mattress protector there, so treat it as a safety net for the wrong firmness rather than a refund.

Our verdict

Conclusion
“The Meya is the Dunlopillo to buy if you sleep on your back or front and want latex on pocket springs at the lowest price in the range. Side sleepers who want more give at the shoulder should spend more on the Kareena.”
