DUSK Foam 1000 Pocket Sprung reviewed

The DUSK Foam 1000 Pocket Sprung is the entry mattress in DUSK’s own range and the softest of its three models: 1,000 individually wrapped pocket springs under a single layer of plush foam, 25 cm deep, sold only on dusk.com. We rate it for side sleepers, lighter adults, guest rooms and teenagers’ beds, from £199 for a single.

What is inside the Foam 1000?

The specifications come from DUSK’s product page, read in October 2026. DUSK does not publish the depth of the foam layer or the spring gauge.

How does it feel?

DUSK calls it the softest mattress in its collection, made for people who like to sink in, and we place it at 3 on our 1 to 10 firmness scale. Shoulders and hips settle into the surface, which is what a side sleeper needs to keep the spine straight. Back and front sleepers, and anyone heavier, will get more support from DUSK’s medium-firm Memory Foam 2000 or 4000.

Price and terms

A double costs £259 and a king £299, the lowest DUSK price in every size. The mattress comes with DUSK’s 100-night sleep trial, counted from delivery. DUSK’s trial terms ask for a mattress protector throughout and deduct a £39.99 collection fee from the refund, and the product guarantee runs for one year.

Where it falls short

One foam layer over a modest spring count gives less contouring and less edge support than DUSK’s dearer hybrids, so we would not choose it as the main bed for two adults. A one-year guarantee is also short for a sprung mattress, and the super king was listed as out of stock when we checked in October 2026.
