Staples & Co is a bed-making name that traces its history back more than 125 years and now exists as a range sold only by Bensons for Beds. The collection covers divan bases, headboards, bedroom furniture and the Artisan mattresses, which use natural fillings and are made in the UK in a factory accredited with the Furniture Makers Manufacturing Guild Mark and the British Kitemark (Staples & Co at Bensons).

Artisan and Eco Latex mattresses

The Artisan Pure models (Splendour, Opulence, Decadence, Utopia and Indulgence) stack dual-layer pocket springs under layers of wool, organic cotton, flax and, in the Splendour, UK alpaca wool, with a Belgian damask cover that is fire-retardant without chemical treatment. The Eco Latex models (Restore, Renew, Refresh and Revitalise) pair pocket springs with latex. Most come in firm and extra firm, several also in zip-and-link versions that join two singles into one bed.
