The trading name goes back to 2004; the current company, Laybrook Group Ltd, was incorporated in 2021 when the business was restructured, and its registered office is in Oxfordshire.

The range

The range covers single, double and dual adjustable beds, in divan, wooden, leather and metal styles, plus height-adjustable care beds and turning beds that move you from lying to sitting at the edge of the bed. Heights can be changed for £95 per two inches and widths or lengths for £245. Every domestic adjustable and high-low bed except the Chatsworth includes a Q-flex mattress made to your weight range and chosen firmness, with a 14-night mattress exchange, and you can return the bed for a full refund if you tell Laybrook within seven days.

Delivery and installation

Laybrook’s own engineers deliver, install and demonstrate the bed, free in mainland England and Wales apart from some remote postcodes; all of Scotland carries a delivery charge. Expect up to 21 working days, or 6 to 10 working days with the express option at £245 extra.

Buying direct is the only route, since Laybrook does not sell through retailers, and prices are shown without VAT because many customers qualify for VAT relief.
