Background
About RattanTree
RattanTree is an online furniture shop best known for rattan garden sets, office chairs and sofas. Alongside them it sells three own-label mattresses, all designed to arrive rolled or folded, from £79.99 for a folding single to £199.99 for its deepest foam king.
Who is behind RattanTree
The shop’s About us page names Hongkong XZY Science And Technology Ltd, based in Kowloon, Hong Kong, as the business behind the site. Returns go to a warehouse in Pontypridd, Wales, and the returns policy refers to RattanTree Ltd. A company of that name has been registered at Companies House since January 2021, with its office in Sully near Cardiff. The terms of service do not say which of the two companies you buy from, so keep your order confirmation. Customer service works by email, Monday to Friday. The shop does not say where its mattresses are made.
The mattress range
Each model comes in the four common UK sizes: single 90x190, small double 120x190, double 135x190 and king 150x200. RattanTree sold no toppers, pillows, duvets or bed frames when we checked its shop in October 2026. Its authorised retailers page lists one Amazon store as the only other seller.
| Model | Construction | Depths | Firmness, per RattanTree | Single from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gel Memory Foam Mattress | Gel memory foam over support foam | 15, 20, 25, 30cm | Medium firm / firm (flippable) | £89.99 |
| 25cm Hybrid Pocket Spring Mattress | 7-zone pocket springs under memory foam, edge support | 25cm | Medium firm | £119.99 |
| Folding Floor Mattress | Gel memory foam over support foam, folds in four | 10, 15, 20cm | Medium | £79.99 |
The flippable foam model is graded H3 on one side and H4 on the other, the German firmness scale the brand uses. It is a firm option for a spare room or an occasional bed, the folding model is a guest bed that stores in a cupboard, and the hybrid lets more air through and passes on less movement than either foam design.
Delivery, returns and warranty
Delivery is free to England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland under its delivery terms, and orders leave the warehouse after one to two working days. There is no sleep trial. The returns and exchanges policy allows 30 days from delivery for goods in new, resellable condition with their packaging intact, and you pay the return carriage if you change your mind. RattanTree gives a one-year warranty. Statutory rights on faulty goods last longer, up to six years, or five in Scotland, as GOV.UK explains.
Our view
RattanTree is a price-led shop, not a mattress specialist, and the 25cm hybrid is the only one of its three mattresses we would consider for nightly use. The low prices come without the home trial and multi-year guarantee that specialist mattress brands offer. For a spare room, a child’s bed or a short-term let, that trade is easy to accept. For the bed you sleep on every night, weigh it carefully.
How we check
Check date on every code
Every code carries the date we last checked it, not a blanket ‘checked daily’ claim.
Expired codes archived
Anything that expires moves to the brand's archive instead of silently disappearing.
Current shop discount shown
Offers without a code are listed here too, so you can see whether a code is worth it at all.
We earn a commission through links on this page. It has no influence on our selection or ratings.
