The Silentnight Hotel Collection Duvet is a 10.5 tog all-season duvet with an embossed stripe finish on its cover, the look of a hotel bed at a supermarket price: a double costs £39. Silentnight sells it in single, double and king, in one weight only.

What the money buys

At this price the Hotel Collection competes with own-brand supermarket duvets. What separates it is the cover finish and the five-year guarantee from a long-established British bedding maker. Silentnight describes the filling only as fine hypoallergenic fibres and does not publish a fill weight, so the duvet cannot be compared gram for gram with pricier hollowfibre or down models.

A 10.5 tog suits a typical bedroom for most of the year. The Sleep Charity puts the ideal bedroom temperature at 16 to 18°C; in a room that stays warmer than that through summer, a 10.5 tog will feel heavy, and Silentnight sells lighter duvets for those months.

Sizes and prices

Size Duvet size (cm, W x L) Price
Single 135 x 200 £33
Double 200 x 200 £39
King 225 x 220 £45

We checked these prices on silentnight.co.uk on 26 October 2026; UK delivery is free on orders over £49.

Who it suits, and the drawbacks

It is the duvet to buy for a guest room, a student move or a second bedroom, where the price matters more than a long trial. There is no super king, so a 180 cm bed needs another model. There is also no lighter weight in this line, and the unpublished fibre composition makes it hard to judge how it will wear after years of washing.

Our verdict

Conclusion
“For a spare room or a first home, the Hotel Collection gives you a proper all-season duvet and a five-year guarantee for less than many retailers charge for a pair of pillows. Super king owners, and anyone who wants a summer weight, need a different duvet.”
