Snoozel Green Organic Mattress
7.9/10A 27cm medium-firm hybrid with GOLS-certified organic latex, GOTS organic cotton and organic wool…
Firmness: Medium firm · 101-night sleep trialThe Dunlopillo Elite Supreme is a 33 cm hand-tufted mattress with Talalay latex, wool and two layers of calico pocket springs.
The Dunlopillo Elite Supreme is the top model in Dunlopillo’s range, a 33 cm hand-tufted mattress with Talalay latex and wool over two layers of calico pocket springs, 2,340 springs in a king size. It has a medium-firm feel and costs from £3,039 for a king at Mattress Online, which sells it only in king and super king. It is built for heavier sleepers and couples who want deep, traditional upholstery and are willing to pay for it.
Dunlopillo’s Elite Supreme spec sheet lists premium Talalay latex, layers of blended wool and a double layer of natural calico pocket springs, hand-nested and hand-centre-tied. The outer rows use firmer-gauge wire for edge support, four rows of hand side stitching build up the border, and wool tufts hold the fillings in place. No other Dunlopillo has two spring layers.
| Size | Pocket springs | Weight (kg) | Mattress Online price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single 90 x 190 | 1,250 | 49 | Not sold online |
| Double 135 x 190 | 1,920 | 74 | Not sold online |
| King 150 x 200 | 2,340 | 87 | £3,039 |
| Super king 180 x 200 | 2,960 | 104 | £3,687 |
Spring counts and weights come from Dunlopillo; prices are Mattress Online’s in October 2026. The spec sheet also lists a single and a double, which a Dunlopillo stockist may be able to order for you.
Mattress Online rates it medium to firm, which we record as 6 out of 10. The double spring unit holds its shape under more weight than a single layer, so heavier back and front sleepers get firm support without a hard surface, while the latex and wool still give side sleepers some cushioning. Lighter people who like to sink in will be happier on the Elite Comfort.
The Elite Supreme comes with a 15-year guarantee and is made in the UK. It is single-sided with turning handles, and Mattress Online advises rotating it monthly. Plan for the weight, though: 87 kg in a king needs two strong people, and stairs or a tight landing can be a problem on delivery day. Because it contains wool it is not an option if you avoid animal fibres, and as with every Dunlopillo there is no sleep trial from the brand.
