The Beldray Memory Foam Antibac Mattress Topper is a B&M exclusive in the Beldray at Home range. It is a 2.5cm layer of 100% visco-elastic foam inside a removable 100% polyester microfibre cover, with elasticated straps to hold it on the mattress.
Visco foam moulds to your shape and spreads pressure, so even this thin layer changes how a firm mattress feels at the shoulder and hip. At 2.5cm the effect is modest, though, and you will still feel the mattress underneath. We estimate the feel at 4 out of 10, medium soft.
B&M lists Single, Double and King versions. Its own approximate dimensions are 90x198cm, 135x188cm and 150x196cm, so check them against your mattress before you buy. The product is sold in stores only, so availability depends on your local branch.
Memory foam holds heat more than fibre, and a thin polyester cover does little to offset that. Warm sleepers may prefer an airflow or gel design.
