The Aspire Pocket+ 3000 Memory is a 24cm rolled hybrid that stacks two layers of springs: a base of Aspire’s Pocket+ springs and, above it, 2,000 micro pocket springs, finished with memory foam under a soft-touch Pisa cover. Aspire rates it medium. It is the step up from the brand’s Pocket+ 1000 models for anyone who wants more cushioning without giving up the bounce of springs.

Twin springs, explained

Aspire calls the build “twin suspension”. The full-height Pocket+ springs carry your body weight, while the small micro springs closer to the surface react to shoulders, hips and smaller shifts in position. Between and above them sit two foams: a recycled eco foam that gives the micro springs a firm base, and a memory foam comfort layer that moulds to you. The table follows Aspire’s own cross-section on the product page.

Layer, top to bottom What Aspire uses
Sleep surface Soft-touch Pisa quilted fabric with polyester fibre
Comfort foam Memory foam
Upper springs 2,000 micro tablet pocket springs
Support foam Recycled eco foam
Insulators Recycled felt pads either side of the main springs
Main springs Pocket+ springs, up to 1,000 per mattress
Base Polyester support layer and recycled non-slip fabric

The combination suits couples well. Two layers of individually pocketed springs isolate movement better than a single unit, and the memory foam takes the edge off pressure at the shoulder for side sleepers. Memory foam does hold some heat, which Aspire tries to offset with a quilted fibre top. If you run hot, the Pocket+ 3000 Memory Cooler uses the same build with a cooling fabric for £30 to £60 more per size.

Sizes and prices

Size Mattress size (cm) Aspire price
Small single (2ft6) 75 x 190 £315
Single (3ft) 90 x 190 £319
Small double (4ft) 120 x 190 £359
Double (4ft6) 135 x 190 £359
King (5ft) 150 x 200 £419

Prices as read on 15 October 2026, with no size on offer. There is no super king. The mattress arrives vacuum packed in a box; give it up to 48 hours to recover its full 24cm.

Who should look elsewhere

Front sleepers and heavier sleepers will probably find a medium memory foam top too yielding, because the hips sink further than the shoulders. A firmer tufted mattress from Aspire’s natural-filling range suits them better. Check your headboard too, since a 24cm mattress sits noticeably higher than a slim budget one and can cover the lower part of a short panel.

Warranty, trial and returns

The product page shows a 5-year warranty, which Aspire’s guarantee terms turn into a sliding contribution after year one, from 20% of the retail price up to 70% in year five. There is no sleep trial, and a mattress with a broken hygiene seal cannot be sent back under the 14-day cancellation right, according to Aspire’s returns page. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 allow a seller to exclude sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed, which is the rule Aspire applies.

Our verdict

Conclusion
“This is the Pocket+ model we would pick for a shared double: two layers of pocket springs keep a restless partner on their side, and the memory foam top suits side and back sleepers. Warm sleepers should pay the small premium for the Cooler version.”
