The Simba Summer Hybrid Duvet is a 4.5 tog duvet for warm nights, with the same recycled-fibre fill and cool-touch Stratos cotton side as the all-season Hybrid, just less of it. It is the cheapest duvet Simba makes, from £129 for a single, and buyers rate it 4.8 out of 5 across 547 reviews.

At 4.5 tog the duvet is a little warmer than a sheet-weight summer quilt, so it still feels like being under a duvet on a warm night. The fill is Simba Renew Bio, polyester spun from recycled bottles, and is designed to let air move through rather than trap it. Square stitching keeps the thin fill evenly spread.
One side of the cotton cover has Simba’s Stratos finish, which Simba says tested up to 3°C cooler than untreated fabric in measurements by HeiQ in November 2020. That figure describes the fabric in a lab, but the cool feel on first contact is the point of a summer duvet. If you share the bed with someone who feels the cold, 4.5 tog may leave them chilly; the 3-in-1 lets you start at 7 tog and drop to 3.5 tog on the hottest nights.
| Size | Duvet size (cm, W x L) | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Single | 135 x 200 | £129 |
| Double | 200 x 200 | £179 |
| King | 225 x 220 | £219 |
| Super king | 260 x 220 | £229 |
We checked these prices on simbasleep.com on 15 October 2026. As a double it costs £20 less than the all-season Hybrid Duvet. Delivery is free and usually next day for orders before 1pm, and it comes in a reusable bag for storing over winter. The four sizes match the dimensions of Simba’s own duvet covers, so any cover from its bedding range fits.
Buy the Summer Hybrid if you sleep hot or if your bedroom stays warm from June to September. The NHS sleep advice recommends a cool bedroom for better sleep, and a light duvet is the simplest change you can make. Simba also shows its menopause-friendly symbol on this duvet; the NHS guidance on menopause symptoms lists night sweats among common symptoms. On its own it will be too light for most UK winters, so plan for a second duvet or consider the 3-in-1. Duvets have a 30-day return under Simba’s returns page.

“The Summer Hybrid Duvet is our pick for warm months and for people who overheat under a normal duvet, and at 4.5 tog it is light without leaving you bare. In a cold house you will need a heavier duvet for winter, which is why the 3-in-1 can be better value over a year.”Go to shop →
