Duvalay Custom Caravan Mattress Topper reviewed

The Duvalay Custom Caravan Mattress Topper is a foam topper cut to the exact shape of your caravan bed, whether that is an island bed with rounded corners, a French bed, a transverse bed or a set of bunks. It is the right Duvalay topper when no ready-made rectangle will fit without gaps.

How the made-to-measure order works

You order by the bed’s maximum width and add the make, model and year of the caravan at checkout. The Duvalay product page names Swift, Bailey, Elddis, Coachman, Adria and Auto-Trail among the makes it can match; if your model is not on file, a drawing or template does the job. Duvalay then sends a drawing for approval before cutting. Doubles and above can be made in two pieces for an extra £50, which makes a large topper easier to roll and store.

Foams and prices

The foam choice is the same as on Duvalay’s other toppers: 2.5cm Gold (the firmest, highest-density memory foam), 5cm Silver (medium-firm memory foam), 5cm Gold, or 5cm Freshtec cooling foam with a cool-touch cover. The cheapest is a single in 2.5cm Gold.

Prices are Duvalay’s regular prices, checked on 13 October 2026. The 5cm Gold sits between Silver and Freshtec in every width.

Who it suits

We recommend it to caravan owners who sleep on a fixed island or French bed every trip and want it to feel like their bed at home. Silver is the safe all-round choice, Gold suits back sleepers, and Freshtec is worth the extra if the van gets warm in summer. If your bed is a simple rectangle made from seat cushions, two ready-made Travel Toppers do a similar job for less and can still be returned.

Returns and care

This is the one condition to understand before ordering. Under the Duvalay returns policy, a custom-made topper cannot be cancelled once production starts or returned after you approve the drawing, unless it is faulty or more than 1.5cm out from the approved size. Check every measurement on the drawing. The zipped cover washes at 30°C, and Duvalay sells the identical made-to-measure topper for motorhomes and campervans at the same prices.
