The Snüz SnuzSurface Duo is a dual-sided pocket sprung cot bed mattress with two support levels and a waterproof mesh cover.
The SnuzSurface Duo is Snüz’s mid-range cot and cot bed mattress, and the one to look at if you own a SnuzKot. It is 10cm deep and built around a pocket sprung core, with foam layers of different firmness on each side.
Dual-sided means two support levels. The firmer side is for babies; when your child reaches the toddler stage you unzip the cover and flip the core so the softer side is on top. Snüz prints the steps on a label inside the cover. The cover itself has a 3D breathable mesh top with a waterproof membrane, which helps during potty training, and it is machine washable at 40°C.
It comes in three sizes: 68 x 117cm for the SnuzKot, the small cot bed size of 60 x 120cm and the standard cot bed size of 70 x 140cm. Snüz states compliance with BS EN 16890 and gives a two-year guarantee. It arrives vacuum-rolled and needs seven days lying flat before use.
Above it sits the SnuzSurface Pro, which adds a third support level for use up to age seven and a five-year guarantee for about £40 more.
