The Simba Waffle Cotton Duvet Cover is a 200 thread count honeycomb-weave cotton cover, sold in double, king and super king from £99. Its raised texture makes it the cosiest-feeling cover in Simba’s range, which is why we would put it on a bed in a cool room or in winter.

Waffle, or honeycomb, weave interlaces threads into a grid of raised squares. The pockets trap a little warm air, so waffle bedding feels thicker and cosier than flat-woven cotton while the cotton fibre still breathes. Simba uses 100% cotton at 200 thread count, coloured with organic dyes. The texture adds depth to a plain bed and hides creases, so ironing is optional. The fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, the label for textiles tested for harmful substances, and it is made by the Costa family in Guimarães, Portugal.
Buttons close the cover and corner ties keep the duvet from bunching. The covers are cut to the same four sizes as Simba’s own duvets, so a Simba Hybrid Duvet fills them edge to edge. The tech spec also lists a single, but only double, king and super king were on sale when we checked. The textured weave disguises creases, so the bed looks tidy without ironing.
| Size | Duvet cover size (cm, W x L) | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Double | 200 x 200 | £99 |
| King | 225 x 220 | £119 |
| Super king | 260 x 220 | £139 |
Prices were read on simbasleep.com on 15 October 2026 and are the same for all four colours. Delivery is free and next day for orders before 1pm.
Simba advises a cold wash with similar colours and a low tumble dry with wool dryer balls. The deeper honeycomb weave holds more water than flat cotton, so allow a little longer for it to dry fully before putting it back on the bed. Undo any corner ties before washing so they do not knot together in the drum.
Choose this cover if you feel the cold or want texture on a plain bed. It costs £20 more than the percale cover as a double. If you sleep hot, a smoother, lighter fabric such as percale or Tencel will serve you better. Unused bedding can be returned within 30 days, according to Simba’s returns page.
