iDOO Premium Air Mattress 18 Inch reviewed

The iDOO Premium Air Mattress 18 Inch is a raised, 46 cm air bed with a built-in electric pump, sold on iDOO’s UK shop from £75 with a UK plug. It is a spare bed for guests and occasional use, not a replacement for a mattress you sleep on every night.

Variants and prices

iDOO sells the bed in US size names and splits each size by plug type. These are the UK-plug variants on iDOO’s product page at the time of writing (September 2026):

iDOO does not give centimetre dimensions for these variants. The only measurement on the page is a gallery image of a “double size” bed at 193 x 137 x 46 cm, which matches none of the size names, so measure your floor space and check the listing before you order. Every variant shows a struck-through “regular price” and a 65% off badge with no end date; we treat the lower figure as the everyday price.

Pump, build and air loss

The pump is built into the side and fills or empties the bed in three to four minutes, with a single switch to set the firmness. iDOO says the PVC contains K80 resin to reduce leaks, the top is flocked, and the base has a non-slip strip. The product description quotes 40 internal air coils while one of iDOO’s own images says 28, and the stated weight capacity is 295 kg in the images against 650 to 800 pounds by size in the specification, so treat both figures with some caution.

All PVC air beds lose some firmness overnight, and iDOO says so: the material stretches as the temperature drops, and it advises topping the bed up with 10 to 15 seconds of air each day if it is used for more than one night.

Returns and warranty

iDOO’s UK product page promises free delivery, a 30-day money-back guarantee and a one-year warranty. The return policy adds that you pay the return postage, which sits oddly with the “30-day free return” banner, and the warranty terms are written for the US and Canada, though they state that UK statutory rights are unaffected. For comparison, Citizens Advice explains that UK law gives you a 14-day cooling-off period on online orders, starting the day after delivery, so iDOO’s 30 days is the more generous of the two.
