Silentnight ThermaCool Memory 2500 Divan Set reviewed

The Silentnight ThermaCool Memory 2500 Divan Set is a complete bed in one order: a boxtop mattress with 1,000 pocket springs and 1,500 mini springs, on an upholstered divan with built-in storage. On silentnight.co.uk it costs from £1,266 for a single with two drawers.

Prices are the two-drawer versions on the Silentnight product page on 8 October 2026. The full ottoman is the dearest layout in every size that offers it.

The mattress

The top layer is graphite-infused memory foam, which Silentnight says gives a sleep environment 15% cooler than standard memory foam. That is the brand’s own figure, and it publishes no test method behind it. Coolmax fabric is woven into the sleep surface and a polyester layer sits beneath it for airflow. Under the foam, 1,500 mini springs in the boxtop rest on 1,000 zoned Mirapocket springs. The same mattress is sold alone as the ThermaCool Memory 2500 Boxtop, where Silentnight rates it medium/firm. Memory foam also damps movement, so a restless partner disturbs you less.

The base, delivery and exchange

The divan comes in seven fabrics, among them Hunter green, Dusky Pink and Maritime Blue. Silentnight delivers divans free with a two-person crew who assemble them in the room you choose, usually within 14 days. The mattress is covered by the 60-night comfort exchange, which lets you swap it for another product after at least 28 nights; it is an exchange, not a refund (Silentnight terms). The guarantee is 5 years.

Who it suits

We recommend the set if you run warm at night but like the sink-in feel of memory foam, and you are replacing base and mattress together anyway. Silentnight’s own bed bases guide makes the case for buying the two together, so the base suits the mattress and its guarantee. The price is the drawback, from £1,520 for a double, and the cooling claim is Silentnight’s rather than an independent measurement.
